2008 Big Apple Awards
 "Building Our Communities Piece By Piece"

New York City LISC's Big Apple Innovation Award Ceremony recognizes the most significant and innovative contributions to community development in New York City. Awards are given in the following categories:

  • Public Partner of the Year Award
  • Innovation of the Year Award
  • The Lisa and Dick Cashin Champion of Community Development Award
  • Leah Schneider Lifetime Achievement Award
Past recipients include public officials who fought to preserve affordable housing against challenging odds, organizations that worked to facilitate the growth and economic health of formerly blighted communities and banks that went above and beyond in financing original and forward thinking projects.
