Project Profile:
Green Development: Through its Green Connections program, Bay Area LISC secured funding to launch a green loan fund to support environmentally sound housing. LISC also published two notable reports on green development: "Energy and Affordable Housing: Lessons Learned from the Field" and the "Green Affordable Housing Operations a Maintenance Toolkit." LISC presented the findings of the first to the California Energy Commission and the California Public Utilities Commission.
