The Greater Cincinnati & Northern Kentucky LISC office provides a broad array of predevelopment, construction, and semi-permanent financing for resident-led community development projects; vital capacity-building technical assistance and operating support venture grants; and access to LISC’s national programs that help link community initiatives with formal, institutionally-driven initiatives to reduce blight and crime and enhance the livability of Greater Cincinnati & Northern Kentucky neighborhoods.

In the left hand navigation, there are links to local
LISC programs that promote the development of new and affordable housing, provide social and economic development opportunities for Greater Cincinnati & Northern Kentucky communities, build the capacity of community developers through LISC’s Capacity Building Academy seminars and trainings, bring new resources to the region like the LISC / NFL Football Fields Program for the renewal of neighborhood recreation spaces, and Neighborhood Indicators Project data gathering and mining project.

LISC works to bring together all members of the community development system – residents, civic groups, CDCs, City partners, corporations, and local institutions and foundations – to effectively pool its limited resources, improve the capacity of local community developers, create a supportive policy environment for resident-led development, and transform distressed and under-resourced neighborhoods and healthy, strong communities.
