Local Initiatives Support Corporation is honored to have been included in President Clinton's new book, Giving: How Each of Us Can Change the World, in a chapter on model programs that he believes deserve broad replication.

In the excerpt, President Clinton describes our general work in community development, while making specific reference to our work with New Markets Tax Credits, green development, the Gulf, and AmeriCorps. He encourages both investors and ordinary citizens to become involved with LISC and their local Community Development Corporation to achieve their community development goals.
