Mission / Vision Statement

Mission: To improve the quality of life for residents of northeast Wyandotte County through community revitalization and economic development.

Vision: MCRC envisions revitalized, safe neighborhoods with quality, affordable housing, access to holistic human services, and sustained economic development.

Proudest Achievement Completion of:
1) Phase I of housing development
2) 45,000 sq. ft. Community Center
3) 61-unit senior housing facility - Mt. Carmel Place.
Priorities for 2006-2007 1) MCRC is working to improve the housing conditions and resident services in the Northeast area of Wyandotte County. We will initiate Phase II of Carmelle Estates subdivision located at 12th and Troup in Kansas City, Kansas. 2) Construction will be completed and we will move into a new community center in partnership with the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater KC, to be located adjacent to the new subdivision. 3) Open the child care facility. 4) Continue providing quality social services. 5) MCRC will continue to seek collaborative partnerships with public and private organizations, striving to give the greatest return-on-investment while creating quality, livable communities
