Policy Networks
Because changing laws and regulations are often viewed as a difficult and daunting task, Greater Kansas City LISC formed three "Policy Networks." The networks are comprised of regional organizations committed to effective community development and economic policy to promote healthy communities through improved visibility, voice, tools and resources.

The approach is to build broad support for policies that create holistic change. The goal is to bring substantial resources and awareness to housing, economic development, education and other critical issues. At monthly meetings, the groups identify priority issues, invite legislators to speak, and organize collective efforts to influence policy.

Monthly meeting dates are posted on the Greater Kansas City LISC home page.
