Main Street/Community Safety Initiative
The
Main Street and Community Safety Initiative is an integrated program that is intended
to work in partnership with local businesses and residents to stabilize
neighborhood commercial strips and improve community safety through
collaboration with law enforcement entities. Through the Main Street Initiative, CDCs
work with local businesses to help them attract and manage public infrastructure
improvements, generate new business development and identify sources of capital
for private investment and business development within their
communities.
