Organizational Capacity Building

LISC does not build housing, we build organizations that build housing (and so much more). LISC succeeds in fulfilling its mission when the organizations we support become consistent agents for community transformation.

Our goal is to help build housing and community development organizations with strong internal systems that can effectively manage and sustain their growth and protect their community's assets.

We do this by ensuring easy access to a variety of training opportunities, capacity grants and appropriate technical assistance resources that produce tangible gains in capacity or industry well-being.
