Milwaukee Partnership for Community Development
The Milwaukee Partnership for Community Development is an operating support and capacity-building program that aims to significantly improve the performance of Milwaukee Community Development Corporations.
Like most successful operating support programs throughout the country, MPCD recognizes unrestricted operating funds as "investments" that will produce some measurable outcome of change. MPCD's goals are:
- building CDC capacity to measurably impact housing and commercial development in revitalization neighborhoods;
- strengthening linkages and lines of communication between CDCs, their neighborhood partners and constituencies.
