Production


Production - The goal of this program is to increase production of affordable housing and community facilities using principles of smart growth and sustainability. As a condition of LISC financial and technical assistance, groups developing affordable housing and community facilities will be required to consider the availability of employment, health, educational facilities, and recreational opportunities.


Native American Business and Cultural Center

Native American Business and Cultural Center - 85,000 sq. ft.

- LISC Investment: $1,221,000 acquisition loan

- Total Development Cost: $8.2 million

- Project Sponsors: Native American Connections (NAC) Phoenix Indian Center (PIC), and Native American Community Health Center (NH

- Project Investors: The Phoenix Community Development and Investment Corporation (New Market Tax Credit Funds managed by 1st National Bank of Arizona), Arizona MultiBank, and State Farm.

- The three largest Native American human service providers in metropolitan Phoenix joined forces to create a Native American business, cultural and “One Stop” social service center in central Phoenix.
