Palm Beach County LISC currently works with more than twenty-five community development corporations (CDCs) and other non-profit partners.  We are continuing the core area workshops of the Community Development Training Institute, which provides training to the CDCs to enable them to develop and package deals and deliver credit counseling and homebuyer education.  Through these efforts and intense Direct Technical Assistance program, our pipeline has increased to more than 2,300 affordable homes.

Within the last three years, Palm Beach County LISC has expanded its partnership to include local government with major initiatives in the cities of Belle Glade, Boca Raton, Boynton Beach, Riviera Beach and West Palm Beach. In addition, and in response to changing times, Palm Beach County LISC has started providing project development assistance to several public housing authorities.

Since the Palm Beach County program was established in 1991, LISC has invested $21 million in developing neighborhood-based revitalization efforts in the Glades, Boynton Beach, Delray Beach, Lake Worth, Limestone Creek in Jupiter, Northwest Riviera Beach, Pearl City in Boca Raton and Northwood/Pleasant City in West Palm Beach.
